Some Glances Over This City

   I take a short stay in a traditional Korean house near Gyebokgong Palace, whose gate is located on next  street.(3-minute walking.) Last night I spent one hour exploring something interesting, without deciding my destination. That I hardly watch Korean dramas made me like a deaf, who neither understands nor reads any Korean characters.

  It astonishes me that there are many BBQ restaurants and beer shops around this area. At 10 o'clcok p.m. both college students and businessmen were still drunk down on the street,including women and young ladies. What a happy race!  Koreans seem to enjoy drinking beer; because I find "No table without beer bottles in BBQ restaurants."  Around only five minutes ago, I saw a number of young people laughingly walking into this zone,Jongno District.

    Last night when I ordered roasted meat, the shop-owner brougt me a bottle of beer as "SAVIS" (he used this word and the same pronounciation. giggling. Service for free?  Taiwanese have the same vocabulary, don't we? ).  I smiled to refuse this "present" though this design of bottle/brand always appears in Korean TV-Series, eg. in Bad Couple  (不良情侶),   the lead actresss dreamed of her baby girl with beer bottle.  http://www.tudou.com/playlist/playindex.do?lid=802453&iid=6732538&cid=22  ( If you can't chuckle until the episode 4, you must be devoid of humour.recommand,  Thumbs Up! )  

    It was raining a whole day long. As the time was about 3 o'clock p.m. the young girls leaving from Ehwa univ were shopping in short skirt and high-heels.  Many girls looked charming.

   Well, they are preparing for finals, say people. Next week their summer vacation will start.
